Core Values

We Cherish Kingdom Relationships

We Cultivate an Atmosphere of Empowerment Not Control

  • The quality of our lives is based on the quality of our commitments. We make covenant commitments to God, to family, to a core group of people and to a local church.
  • God is interested in relationship. He does not need us to do anything for Him. He loves for us to do things with Him. He does not want our service apart from intimacy.

We Honor Biblical Values

  •      Each student has a unique design and distinctive purpose (Eph 2:10)
  •      Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. (1 Pet 2:17)
  •      A Biblical view of gender identity (Gen 1:26-28)
  •      A patriotic view of America (Ps 33:12)
  •      Self-mastery and personal discipline (2 Tim 1:7)
  •      Family Involvement and Parent input  (Dt 11:19)
  •      Equipping the whole family--parents as well as kids (Dt 4:9)
  •      Spiritual development from a charismatic approach (1 Cor 12:31)

We Are Building a Culture of Love and Honor

  • Life flows from honor. We will always treat you with honor and respect. Likewise, you are expected to always relate with God, your leaders, yourself and others with honor and respect.
  • There are levels of honor in the Kingdom of God. We do not all have equal voices in every circumstance. We must learn to recognize where honor is due and offer it genuinely. We do not grasp at significance but value others above ourselves.

We Acknowledge Humility as the Key to Greatness

  • Humility means to agree with God.
  • We believe each person is created for greatness, but greatness in not found in your own success. While many are created to be in the spotlight, this school is not about being the center of attention, it’s about living a consecrated life in which all spotlights point to Jesus. Pride is counter-productive to true greatness.
  • Servanthood is more important than success. True success is often born of genuine servanthood.  Jesus said, “If anyone would be great among you, he must learn to be a servant of all.” ( Mt20:26)

We Esteem Your Position as Heir of the King

  • Through intimacy with God, you will come to understand your identity in Him.
  • We are committed to your development as His heir so you can rule effectively with Him. You are not an orphan, a slave or a pauper. Learn to think and live out of your new identity, then you will learn to lead with the King’s heart and the servant’s hand.

We Acknowledge Godly Confrontation as Part of a Loving Environment

  • The more freedom there is in an environment, the more necessary Godly confrontation becomes. Freedom is never about doing whatever whenever to whomever without consequences. Freedom is having the power to manage yourself without being controlled by others. Great freedom comes with great responsibility.
  • Love means caring about how you impact other people. When you are impacting someone in a negative way, it is loving for them to let you know so the relationship is not injured. Being humble and teachable in the face of confrontation demonstrates love, honor, a willingness to be accountable and an ability to make adjustments to manage yourself in a way that strengthens relationships.

We Consider Accountability a Blessing in a Culture of Love and Honor

  • The point of accountability is never to control you for our agenda but to empower you toward your own goals.
  • You are only as accountable as you are willing to be. Accountability is dependent on your personal desire to develop yourself. It cannot be enforced. It will never be imposed.
  • Our goal is to maintain an empowering culture. We will not control you. You are in charge of you. We will work hard to call out the destiny in you and empower you to reach your full potential.
  • Our goal is not to teach you to obey rules, our goal is to empower you to love. In love is the fulfillment of all of God’s laws. We motivate people through enabling them to see God’s purposes for them rather than through guilt and condemnation.

We Realize those who belong to Christ Have the Mind of Christ

  • As a Christian you have the mind of Christ; your brain is just learning to catch up.
  • We will teach you how to think more than what to think. You will grow to know the character and nature of God so you can make decisions based on how He thinks and can act according to His nature.
  • It was God’s design that when the mind of Christ works in partnership with your mind, brilliant things happen!

We Foster Ownership of Potential

  • You will never reach your full potential until you take responsibility for your own personal greatness.
  • As long as you perform in order to gain approval or to avoid disapproval you haven’t taken responsibility for your own life. We will never work harder on your goals or your problems than you do. We will solve problems with you, but not for you.

We Recognize Supernatural Power is Part of our Inheritance in Christ

  • God is mightily at work! From the beginning of time, God spoke into the chaos, darkness and emptiness and brought forth light and life, beauty and order. He is still doing that today!
  • When Jesus Christ lives in you, you become a living, walking, breathing "portal" of His presence here on earth.
  • He has invited you into a divine partnership, to create with Him, to release His glory into chaotic, dark and empty places! Your art, dance, business, ministry can HEAL people's bodies and souls. Your partnership with Him can cause His light to bring hope and life to a world that really needs it right now!

We Value Integrity and Honesty

  • Who are you when no one is looking? Are you sincere about who you are when no one knows the difference but you? Do you choose your answers, responses or actions out of fear of punishment?  Or are you the kind of person who does the right thing because you eagerly desire to please God?
  • Trust is built on honesty and integrity. Trust is the foundation of all good relationships, including your relationship with you!

We Regard Risk-taking as Essential to Personal Growth and Creativity

  • Fear of failure crushes creativity. We don’t expect you to get things perfectly. We assume you came to learn and therefore will fail occasionally. (We are not talking about moral or character failure.)
  • Failure is a learning experience not an identity. We are not defined by our past, our failures or even our successes. We are defined by God. We see failure and problems as opportunities to glorify God as we grow into who we were created to be.

What We Believe

  • There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self- existent—one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  • Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.
  • The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is "true God" and "true man."
  • We are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies and empowers us to walk in the fullness of the inheritance Christ suffered to restore to us as adopted sons and daughters of the Father.
  • It is the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who indwells the Christian enabling them to live a holy life and to minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses of God’s redeeming love to the world.
  • The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy - sin, lies, sickness and torment.
  • The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God's love, disciple the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
  • In the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride - His church. Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
